1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Hireci, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Hireci for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and meet the minimum age required in your location. You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, activity under your account, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
3. What Hireci provides
Hireci helps users import, recognize, edit, store, organize, translate, plan, analyze, and shop for recipes. Features may depend on device permissions, internet access, third-party sources, subscription status, regional availability, and data quality. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
4. Imported content and acceptable use
You may submit public links, text, photos, video, audio, and other content you have the right to use. You remain responsible for what you submit and for complying with source-platform terms and applicable law.
You must not use Hireci to:
- Access private, restricted, deleted, or protected content without authorization.
- Infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.
- Upload malicious code, disrupt the service, bypass limits, or probe security.
- Harass, defraud, impersonate, or harm another person.
- Use automated extraction or resale that burdens or competes with the service.
- Use the service for unlawful, dangerous, or misleading purposes.
5. Your content and license
You keep ownership of content you create or lawfully provide. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transform, translate, cache, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support Hireci. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to backups, legal retention, and content already shared at your direction.
6. Third-party content and services
Hireci may display or process content originating from third-party platforms and websites. We do not control or endorse that content and are not responsible for its availability, accuracy, legality, or safety. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Meta, ByteDance, Apple, Google, and other third-party names are owned by their respective holders. Hireci is not affiliated with those platforms unless expressly stated.
7. Recognition, translation, nutrition, and cost estimates
Automated results can be incomplete or wrong. Always review ingredients, allergen risks, quantities, temperatures, cooking instructions, nutrition figures, and costs before relying on them.
- Nutrition information is an estimate and is not medical, dietary, or professional advice.
- Cost information is an estimate and can vary by store, region, date, brand, and package size.
- Translation can change meaning or omit context.
- Food preparation carries risks. Follow safe handling and cooking guidance from qualified authorities.
Consult a qualified professional for medical, allergy, dietary, or health decisions.
8. Hireci+ subscriptions
Some features require a recurring Hireci+ subscription purchased through Apple. The purchase sheet shows the applicable price, billing period, trial eligibility, taxes, and renewal terms before you confirm.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s policies.
- Your Apple account is charged according to the terms shown at purchase.
- You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings or your App Store subscription settings.
- Trials are limited to eligible users and convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple’s policies.
- Restoring purchases requires the Apple account used for the original purchase.
9. Intellectual property
Hireci, its software, interface, branding, artwork, and original website content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, lease, or create derivative works from Hireci except where law expressly permits.
10. Feedback
If you send ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. We are not required to treat feedback as confidential.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Hireci at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, abuse the service, fail to pay, or if continued operation is no longer practical. Provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hireci is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation. We do not guarantee that imported content, media, source links, automated recognition, or estimates will remain available.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hireci and its operators, affiliates, vendors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, goodwill, or use; food-related injury caused by inaccurate or unsafe third-party content; or unauthorized account access. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Hireci during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms, where permitted by law.
